Colorado Blue Spruce

The evergreens are my only remaining flora friends, it seems all the other trees are now bare for winter. Such begins the long season of dull dead backdrops for photos, so expect to see a lot of evergreens for the foreseeable future!

The good thing about winter of course is getting to wear all the suits, and so I broke out the Lilli Ann! I hadn't worn this suit, with its ivory colored accents, with this set of ivory/grey/tan faux fur accessories before, but I think they go together wonderfully. You should have seen the looks I got running errands in Target in this outfit! I left the muff in the car, but I suppose a fluffy little hat is also quite out of place in suburbia :)

I may have had my purple hair color refreshed and brightened a bit recently...in fact I went all the way in on purple and had the whole thing bleached and dyed so it will only fade to an even brighter shade! The darker more navy/plum color was easier to style with a lot of my wardrobe, but I figured if I needed to do my roots I might as well go in for something extra fun. Winter can be dreary, so a bright change was in order. Now I have the extra challenge of styling my wardrobe around bright purple, but that can be a good thing too!

It's back to work for most in the US today after the holiday last week. I have a lot of video work to do later this week so hopefully I can get that all together!

    1. Thank you Cate! I'd say purple hair is much more common than vintage in my town, we've got a lot of teenagers around who experiment with fun hair colors. If only there were more people into vintage as well!

  2. I cannot believe how good your hat goes with your hair - it's almost like they form a single piece! And what a lovely colour blue when accessorised in the way you have. Beautiful wintry photos too. Kx

    1. Thank you Porcelina! Some teenage girls laughed at my outfit after passing me in an aisle, but then a young mom in line behind us at the checkout later complimented my outfit, it's always a mix here in suburbia!
